Services

Individual Therapy.

We will work closely together to understand your underlying needs that contribute to your emotions and outlook on the world. Individual therapy sessions typically last for 50 minutes once a week, but this can change depending on your needs and wants.

Couples Therapy.

In couples therapy, we will work together as a team to understand the unhealthy dynamics of the relationship that is causing distress and putting pressure on each partner. We will practice using a variety of different techniques to build trust between partners and to increase the positivity within the relationship.

Telehealth.

These online sessions are great for people who have a chaotic schedule and not have enough time in the day to get the help they need, offered on a HIPAA-compliant service to ensure optimal security and privacy. More and more people are starting to use Telehealth visits because of the ease and convenience they offer.

Philosophy

It is not uncommon for us to cling to belief systems that ultimately do not serve us. We bend over backwards to project a façade of confidence, dependability, and accomplishment in an attempt to live up to society’s standards and our own standards. We give endlessly to our jobs, our families, and our communities to the point of utter exhaustion. Despite all the hard work we put forth, we often feel deeply unfulfilled and empty on the inside. Although we achieve a level of success according to the standards of our modern society, we never quite feel that we are strong enough, skilled enough or attractive enough. This often leads to exhaustion, loneliness, and emotional pain that just won’t go away.

Candace is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been practicing for over 15 years with individuals and couples.

She provides trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy, seeking safety and interpersonal certifications. Over the past years, she has helped numerous people navigate the issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem (frequently putting self down), relationship skills (healthy communication and boundaries), grief and loss.
